We are an organisation of Traveller and non-Traveller people working together to provide services to Traveller men and women, Traveller families, and Traveller young people and children, many of whom are in crisis.
We are a multi-disciplinary service provider offering Family Support, Youth Services, Addiction Services, Mental Health Services and Education Services to members of the Traveller community in the Dublin area; we also have Mental Health Services in Offaly, North Cork and West Cork. In 2012 the National Traveller Suicide Awareness Project joined Exchange House providing suicide related support and training nationwide. We also deliver other national services through training, provision of expertise and partnerships with other organisations providing services to Travellers in Ireland.
Exchange House National Travellers Service now wishes to recruit a
who has the dynamism and vision to lead the organisation into a new era of service provision to the Traveller community in Dublin and nationally.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role or be educated to a master’s degree level or equivalent or in exceptional circumstances a candidate may be appointed who does not hold a degree but who possesses a very considerable amount of job-related experience. They will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, used to thinking strategically and committed to reflective practice.
