Backup Support Programme

Where there are no youth facilities on a particular site the young people may wish to make use of local settled community facilities.

We promote and encourage this service. In order to support the young Traveller in using the settled facility and we provide a back up support to the young people. We also act as liaison to the settled facility and the Travellers. When the project is up and running we remain on as a moral support but are not involved in the day to day running of the facility.

In other areas where Travellers have indicated that they wish to be involved in the running of facilities for Travellers we act as a support to these Travellers too and give them all the support and training they require at any given time.
