Person Specification: Local Training Initiative Coordinator
Qualifications: An understanding of FETAC Training, training background and qualification. A qualification in the area of Adult Education or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience:
Candidates should have experience of working within an Adult Education context, community groups or equivalent. Experience of working with the Traveller community or disadvantaged groups would be an advantage.
Essential:
• You will welcome the challenge of working with a marginalised group
• You will have a clear understanding of the issues facing the Traveller community today
• A knowledge of wages and accounts is also required
• Above all, you will enjoy working within a multi-disciplinary team
• Flexibility in relation to hours may be necessary from time to time

• Training delivery, planning and evaluation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Record keeping skills
• Report writing skills
