We are an organisation of Traveller and non-Traveller people working together to provide services to Traveller men and women, Traveller families, and Traveller young people and children, many of whom are in crisis.
We are a multi-disciplinary service provider offering Family Support, Youth Services, Addiction Services, Mental Health Services and Education Services to members of the Traveller community in the Dublin area; we also have Mental Health Services in Offaly, North Cork and West Cork. In 2012 the National Traveller Suicide Awareness Project joined Exchange House providing suicide related support and training nationwide. We also deliver other national services through training, provision of expertise and partnerships with other organisations providing services to Travellers in Ireland.
The Exchange House National Educational Achievement Award is presented to Travellers who have recently completed the Junior Certificate, Leaving Certificate, GCSE, A Level examinations or Third Level Courses, in recognition of the hard work and commitment shown by the recipients in reaching their goals.
This year the National Educational Achievement Award (NEAA) will be held in the Wood Quay Venue in Dublin's Civic Office on Friday 24th October 2014 at 5pm.
If you think there someone you know who should get this award because of their educational achievement please click on the button below and fill in the Nomination Form.
Nominations close on the 17th October 2014.
